Menu Path: General Ledger Inquiries Allocation Account Inquiry
View fixed and variable account definitions, and apportion an amount for display purposes.
Use Allocation Account Inquiry to view allocation definitions. You can also enter an apportioned amount and display the amount that would be allocated to each account, based on the percentages.

Description |
Enter the allocation account for which you want to display information, or click the Lookup button to select an allocation account. Note The Lookup window only displays fixed or variable allocation accounts based on whether the Fixed or Variable radio button is selected. |

Select whether to display information for a fixed or variable allocation account. |

Enter a ledger ID for which you want to display allocation account data, or click the Lookup button to select a ledger ID. Note This field is only available if at least one consolidation ledger is set up. |

This field displays the description of the selected allocation account. |

This field displays the two-letter abbreviation for the account type, which indicates if the selected allocation account is a fixed or variable allocation account. |

This field displays the allocation account's percentage method. This field is only available if you select the Variable radio button. |

Click the Lookup buttons to select the period and year for which to display account information. This field is only available if you select the Variable radio button. |

Enter an amount to allocate to the selected general ledger account. The amount is not actually allocated, but is calculated for the allocation account when you click the Show Data button in the ribbon. |

This grid displays allocation account information based on the criteria selected on the Select tab. For variable allocation accounts, the grid displays the basis account and type (statistical), and the statistical unit of measure. |
