Column Arranger

To use Column Arranger, right-click a grid, and select Column Arranger.

Purpose

Change the order of columns in a grid and hide columns.

Overview

Use Column Arranger to customize the order in which columns are displayed in a grid. You can also hide specific columns that you do not want to display in the grid.

Note You can also drag and drop a column from one position to another in the grid.

Click this button to close the Column Arranger window and save the order of grid columns.

Cancel

Click this button to close the Column Arranger window without saving changes to the order of grid columns.

Columns

This grid displays all columns in the grid for which you are arranging columns. Each row in this grid displays the column header from the grid you are customizing. Rows at the top of this grid display at the left of the grid you are customizing. Select a column, and use the arrow buttons to move it up or down.

Note You can press the Ctrl or Shift keys while selecting rows to select multiple rows you want to move.

If you want to hide a column from the grid, clear the check box in the Visible column.

Click this button to move the selected column to the top of the Columns grid, which indicates the column will be the first column in the grid you are customizing.

Click this button to move the selected column up one position in the Columns grid (one position left in the grid you are customizing).

Click this button to move the selected column down one position in the Columns grid (one position right in the grid you are customizing).

Click this button to move the selected column to the bottom of the Columns grid, which indicates the column will be the last column in the grid you are customizing.
