Purpose

Set up and maintain EDI trading partner groups.

Overview

Use EDI Trading Partner Group Maintenance to create, update, and delete EDI trading partner groups, which are groups of EDI trading partners. EDI trading partner groups can be used to filter EDI data, or to export EDI data for multiple trading partners (e.g., 832s, 846s, etc.).

Creating EDI Trading Partner Groups

To create an EDI trading partner group:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a name for the EDI trading partner group in the Trading Partner Group field.
Enter a description of the EDI trading partner group in the Description field.
Enter a trade ID or trade ID name of a trading partner you want to add to the EDI trading partner group in the Trade ID or Trade ID Name field.
Click the Add button.
Repeat steps 4 to 5 for all trading partners you want to add to the EDI trading partner group.
Click the OK ribbon button. The EDI trading partner group is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the EDI Trading Partner Group Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new EDI trading partner group.
Update	Click this button to update the selected EDI trading partner group.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected EDI trading partner group.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first EDI trading partner group.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous EDI trading partner group.
Next	Click this button to display the next EDI trading partner group.
Last	Click this button to display the last EDI trading partner group.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Trading Partner Group	Enter the name of the EDI trading partner group, or click the Lookup button to select an existing EDI trading partner group.
Description	Enter a description of the EDI trading partner group.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Trade ID	Enter a trade ID you want to add to the EDI trading partner group, or click the Lookup button to select a trade ID.
Add	Click this button to add the entered trade ID to the EDI trading partner group.
Trade ID Name	Enter a trade ID name you want to add to the EDI trading partner group, or click the Lookup button to select a trade ID name.
Remove	Click this button to remove the trading partner selected in the Selected Trading Partners grid from the EDI trading partner group.
Remove All	Click this button to remove all trading partners from the EDI trading partner group.
Selected Trading Partners	This grid displays trading partners included in the selected EDI trading partner group.
