Purpose

Select products to include in the data extract for suppliers.

Overview

Use Extract Supplier Product Maintenance to associate products with suppliers for the data extracts output in Generate Data Extract. You only need to associate a product with a supplier if you want to associate the product with a supplier other than the primary supplier for the product. If you do create an association in this window, it overrides the association with the product's primary supplier.

Note The data extracts are only used by beverage distributors who need to send data to the following companies: Beverage Data Network (BDN), Vermont Information Processing (VIP), and/or TradePulse.

Selecting Products for a Supplier for Data Extracts

To select products for a supplier for data extracts:

Enter a supplier code or name in the Supplier Code or Name field.
Click the Update button in the ribbon.
Select filter criteria for the products you want to display.
Click the Show Data button in the ribbon.
Double-click the products in the Available grid that you want to select for the supplier.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The extract supplier product record is updated.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Extract Supplier Product Maintenance window.
Update	Click this button to update the selected products for the selected supplier.
OK	Click this button to accept changes to products selected for a supplier. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel when changing products selected for a supplier. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Show Data	Click this button to display unselected products for the supplier in the Available grid based on the selected filter criteria.
First	Click this button to display the first supplier.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous supplier.
Next	Click this button to display the next supplier.
Last	Click this button to display the last supplier.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Supplier Code	Enter a supplier code for which to select products for data extraction, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier code.
Name (Supplier)	Enter a supplier name for which to select products for data extraction, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier name.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
All (Products)	Select this check box to display all products. This check box is selected by default.
Product Code	Enter a product code to display, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it.
Name (Product)	Enter a product name to display, or click the Lookup button to select a product name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it.
All (Product Categories)	Select this check box to display products in all product categories. This check box is selected by default.
Category Code	Enter a product category for which to display products, or click the Lookup button to select a product category. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it.
All (Product Subcategories)	Select this check box to display products in all product subcategories. This check box is selected by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box above it.
Subcategory Code	Enter a product subcategory for which to display products, or click the Lookup button to select a product subcategory. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it.
All (Primary Suppliers)	Select this check box to display products assigned to any supplier as primary supplier. This check box is selected by default.
Primary Supplier	Enter a primary supplier to only display products assigned the supplier as primary supplier, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it.
All (Product Styles)	Select this check box to display products in all product styles. This check box is selected by default.
Product Style	Enter a product style for which to display products, or click the Lookup button to select a product style. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it.
All (User Defined 1-10)	Select these check boxes to display products for all user-defined field values. These check boxes are selected by default.
User Defined 1-10	Enter a user-defined field value for which to display products. Each of these fields is only enabled if you clear the associated All check box. The labels and characteristics of these fields are set up in User Defined Fields Maintenance.
Available	This grid displays products not yet assigned to the selected supplier for the data extract after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon. Double-click a product to assign it to the supplier.
	Click this button to add all products displayed in the Available grid to the Selected grid.
	Click this button to add the selected product in the Available grid to the Selected grid.
	Click this button to remove the selected product from the Selected grid.
	Click this button to remove all products from the Selected grid.
Selected	This grid displays products assigned to the selected supplier for the data extract.
