Question: What are the different reorder trigger quantity methods used by DRP?

Answer: This is the current list. New standard (and custom) reorder trigger quantity methods will be developed to handle the needs of specific situations.

Note The parameter names must be entered exactly as listed for the calculations to work properly. These same parameter names can be used for different reorder quantity trigger methods.

This reorder trigger method determines if you need to order more product. This method is typically used for a short lead time product that is being managed on a reorder point basis. Typically, this is used in conjunction with the demand forecasting buying method.

Example Reorder Trigger (ROT) = Basic Coverage (usage during lead time) + Safety Stock + Order Review coverage (usage during the order review time period)
