Factor Transfer Transaction Selection

To use Factor Transfer Transaction Selection, add a transfer type transaction or click the Select button in Factor Receivables Entry.

Purpose

Select transactions for a factor transfer.

Overview

Use Factor Transfer Transaction Selection to select the transactions you want to transfer from a customer to a factor.

Note You can only transfer the entire open amount of a transaction.

Button

Description

OK

Click this button to enter the selected transactions for the transfer and close the Factor Transfer Transaction Selection window. After you click this button, the Question dialog box appears, and asks you to confirm whether you want to make the transfer. If you click the Yes button in this dialog box, the transfer is made, and cannot be undone.

Cancel

Click this button to close the Factor Transfer Transaction Selection window.

Select All

Click this button to select the check box in the Select As is column for all transactions in the Transactions grid.

Show Data

Click this button to refresh data in the Transactions grid based on the selected criteria.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Customer Code

This field displays the customer code of the factoring company.

Name

This field displays the customer name of the factoring company.

Batch ID

This field displays the open batch for the transaction.

Transfer ID

This field displays the transfer ID.

Transfer Date

Enter the date for the transaction, or click the drop-down arrow to select the date. This defaults to the current date.

Currency

This field displays the currency for the open batch.

Period

Click the Lookup button to select the period for the transaction. This fields defaults to the default accounts receivable general ledger period.

Year

Click the Lookup button to select the year for the transaction. This fields defaults to the default accounts receivable general ledger year.

All Due Dates

Select this check box to display transactions for all due dates.

From (Due Date)

Enter the first due date in a range of due dates for which to display transactions, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Due Dates check box.

To (Due Date)

Enter the last due date in a range of due dates for which to display transactions, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Due Dates check box.

All Reference Dates

Select this check box to display transactions for all reference dates.

From (Reference Date)

Enter the first reference date in a range of reference dates for which to display transactions, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Reference Dates check box.

To (Reference Date)

Enter the last reference date in a range of reference dates for which to display transactions, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Reference Dates check box.

All Reference Numbers

Select this check box to display transactions for all reference numbers.

From (Reference Number)

Enter the first reference number in a range of reference numbers for which to display transactions, or click the Lookup button to select a reference number. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Reference Numbers check box.

To (Reference Number)

Enter the last reference number in a range of reference numbers for which to display transactions, or click the Lookup button to select a reference number. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Reference Numbers check box.

Chargeback Status

Select whether to display resolved, unresolved or both resolved and unresolved chargebacks.

All

Select this check box to display transactions for all accounts receivable reference types.

Invoice

Select this check box to only display invoice transactions. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Finance Charge

Select this check box to only display finance charge transactions. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Credit Memo

Select this check box to only display credit memo transactions. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Non-Sufficient Funds

Select this check box to only display non-sufficient funds transactions. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Debit Memo

Select this check box to only display debit memo transactions. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

On Account

Select this check box to only display on account transactions. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Chargeback

Select this check box to only display chargeback transactions. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Sort

Select one of the following sort options:

  • Ref # - Sort by invoice number or transaction ID.

  • Due Date / Ref#  - Sort by transaction due date, and then by invoice number or transaction ID.

  • Due Date / Ref Type - Sort by transaction due date, and then by type of transaction (i.e. invoice or credit memo).

  • Open Amt / Ref# - Sort by the transaction balance, and then by invoice number or transaction ID.

  • Ref Type / Due Date - Sort by the type of transaction (i.e. invoice or credit memo), and then by the transaction due date.

  • Expected Pay Date / Ref # - Sort by transaction expected payment date, and then by invoice number or transaction ID.

  • Store ID / Ref Date - Sort by the transaction’s store ID, and then by the reference date (i.e. invoice date).

  • PO# / Ref Date - Sort by the customer’s purchase order number, and then by the reference date (i.e. invoice date).

  • RA# / Ref Date - Sort by the transaction’s return authorization number, and then by the reference date (i.e. invoice date).

  • Billing Customer Code / Ref# - Sort by the customer code, and then by invoice number or transaction ID.

  • Billing Customer Name / Ref# - Sort by the customer name, and then by invoice number or transaction ID.

Status

Select whether to display open, closed, or both open and closed transactions.

Sort Changed Browser Items First

Select this check box to display transactions that you are transferring at the top of the Transactions grid.

Transactions

This grid displays transactions that you can transfer. Select the check box in the Select As is column for each transaction you want to mark as paid and transfer to a factoring company. Double-click an invoice to display Invoice Inquiry, which allows you to view detailed information for the invoice.

Transfer Balance

This field displays the total amount of all transactions for which the check box is selected in the Select As is column in the Transactions grid.
