Ribbon Standard Buttons

The following table lists standard buttons that appear in many windows.

Button	Description
New	$Images\newbutton-V7.gif$ Click this button to begin the process of creating new records in maintenance or transaction windows.
Update	$Images\updatebutton-v7.gif$ Click this button to edit existing records in maintenance or transaction windows.
Delete	$Images\deletebutton-v7.gif$ Click this button to remove existing records in maintenance or transaction windows.
Copy	$Images\copybutton-v7.gif$ Click this button to begin the process of creating new records from existing records in maintenance or transaction windows.
Print	$Images\printbutton-v7.gif$ Click this button to print reports and other documents.
Exit	$Images\exitbutton-v7.gif$ Click this button to close a window. Alternatively, click the Close (X) button in the top-right corner of a window.
OK	$Images\okbutton-v7.gif$ Click this button to confirm an action (for example, creating a new customer).
Cancel	$Images\cancelbutton-v7.gif$ Click this button to cancel an action (for example, deleting a new customer).
Navigation	$Images\first-next-prev-last-buttons.gif$ Click the First button to view the first record in a table. Click the Prev button to view the record just prior to the record being viewed. Click the Next button to view the record right after the record being viewed. Click the Last button to view the last record in a table.
Show Data	$Images\show_data_32.gif$ Click this button to view selected records on inquiries and reports.
