Purpose

Define marketing teams.

Overview

Use Marketing Team Maintenance to define valid marketing teams. Every marketing representative must be assigned a valid marketing team. You can create an unlimited hierarchical structure of marketing teams by using the Parent Marketing Team ID field. This can be used for CRM integration purposes.

Example A marketing team hierarchical structure may be set up as shown in the following table:

Parent Marketing Team	Marketing Team	Comments
	Corporate Marketing	The top level of the hierarchy has no parent.
Corporate Marketing	East Coast	The Corporate Marketing marketing team is comprised of the East Coast and West Coast marketing teams.
Corporate Marketing	West Coast
East Coast	Northeast	The East Coast marketing team is comprised of the Northeast and Southeast marketing teams.
East Coast	Southeast

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Marketing Team Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new marketing team.
Update	Click this button to update the selected marketing team.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected marketing team.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first marketing team.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous marketing team.
Next	Click this button to display the next marketing team.
Last	Click this button to display the last marketing team.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Marketing Team ID	Enter a marketing team ID, or click the Lookup button to select a marketing team ID. If you are creating a new marketing team, this must be a unique ID.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Parent Marketing Team ID	Enter the marketing team ID of the parent marketing team, or click the Lookup button to select a marketing team ID. Only enter a marketing team ID in this field if you are creating a marketing team hierarchical structure.
Description	Enter a description of the marketing team.
