Purpose

Set up and maintain product incentive groups.

Overview

Use Product Incentive Group Maintenance to view, create, edit, and delete product incentive groups, which are groups of products used for incentive goals. You can include a product in multiple product incentive groups.

Creating Product Incentive Groups

To create a product incentive group:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a name for the product incentive group in the Product Incentive Group field.
Enter a description of the product incentive group in the Description field.
If you do not want the product incentive group to appear in Lookup windows, clear the Display in Lookups check box.
Enter a product code or name to include in the product incentive group in the Product Code or Product Name field.
Click the Add button.
Repeat steps 5-6 for all products you want to add to the product incentive group.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The product incentive group is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Product Incentive Group Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new product incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.
Update	Click this button to update the selected product incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected product incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Import Products	Click this button to display Product Incentive Group Import, which allows you to import products from an external file into a product incentive group you are creating or editing. This button is only available after you click the New or Update button in the ribbon.
Show Data	Click this button to display product incentive groups on the Inquiry tab. This button is only available if the Inquiry tab is displayed.
First	Click this button to display the first product incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous product incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.
Next	Click this button to display the next product incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.
Last	Click this button to display the last product incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Product Incentive Group	Enter a unique product incentive group, or click the Lookup button to select an existing product incentive group.

General Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Description	Enter a description of the product incentive group.
Display in Lookups	Select this check box to allow the product incentive group to display in Lookup windows. This check box is selected by default.
Product Code	Enter a product code you want to add to the product incentive group, or click the Lookup button to select a product code.
Add	Click this button to add the product associated with the entered product code or name to the product incentive group.
Product Name	Enter a product name you want to add to the product incentive group, or click the Lookup button to select a product name.
Remove	Click this button to remove the selected product in the Products grid from the product incentive group.
Remove All	Click this button to remove all products in the Products grid from the product incentive group.
Products	This grid displays products included in the product incentive group.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Note This tab is disabled if you are creating, editing, or deleting a product incentive group.

Field or Button	Description
Product Incentive Groups	This grid displays product incentive groups after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon. Double-click a product incentive group to select it and display information for it on the General tab.
