Purpose

Maintain purchase order line cancellation reason codes.

Overview

Use Purchase Order Line Cancellation Reason Maintenance to view, create, edit, and delete purchase order line cancellation reason codes. Purchase order line cancellation reason codes are used to describe the reason a purchase order line item is cancelled.

Creating Purchase Order Line Cancellation Reason Codes

To create a purchase order line cancellation reason code:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a code in the Reason Code field.
Enter a description in the Description field.
If the code is not active, clear the Active check box.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The purchase order line cancellation reason code is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Purchase Order Line Cancellation Reason Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new purchase order line cancellation reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Update	Click this button to update the selected purchase order line cancellation reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected purchase order line cancellation reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Show Data	Click this button to display purchase order line cancellation reason codes on the Inquiry tab. This button is only available if the Inquiry tab is displayed.
First	Click this button to display the first purchase order line cancellation reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous purchase order line cancellation reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Next	Click this button to display the next purchase order line cancellation reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Last	Click this button to display the last purchase order line cancellation reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Reason Code	Enter a purchase order line cancellation reason code, or click the Lookup button to select an existing purchase order line cancellation reason code.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Description	Enter a description of the purchase order line cancellation reason code.
Active	Select this check box if the purchase order line cancellation reason code is active. This check box is selected by default.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Note This tab is disabled if you are creating, editing, or deleting a purchase order line cancellation reason code.
