Purpose

Set up and maintain sample billback rates.

Overview

Use Sample Billback Rate Maintenance to view, create, edit, and delete sample billback rates, which are used to specify the percentage of sales cost for samples that can be billed back to the supplier for sample orders. You can also import sample billback rates in Sample Billback Rate Import.

Creating Sample Billback Rates

To create a sample billback rate:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a supplier code or name for the sample billback rate in the Supplier ID or Supplier Name field.
If the sample billback rate is for all products, select the All Products check box. If it is for a single product, enter the product code or name in the Product Code or Name field.
Enter the range of dates for the sample billback rate in the Start Date and End Date fields. The range of dates must not include dates for a previously created sample billback rate for the same supplier and product(s).
Enter the percentage the supplier can be billed for the sample billback rate in the Billback Rate field.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The sample billback rate is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Sample Billback Rate Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new sample billback rate.
Update	Click this button to update the selected sample billback rate.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected sample billback rate.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first sample billback rate.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous sample billback rate.
Next	Click this button to display the next sample billback rate.
Last	Click this button to display the last sample billback rate.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Supplier ID	Enter a supplier code for the sample billback rate, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier code.
Supplier Name	Enter a supplier name for the sample billback rate, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier name.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
All Products	Select this check box if the sample billback rate is for all products. This check box is cleared by default.
Product Code	Enter a product code for the sample billback rate, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. This field is only enabled if the All Products check box is cleared.
Product Name	Enter a product name for the sample billback rate, or click the Lookup button to select a product name. This field is only enabled if the All Products check box is cleared.
Start Date	Enter the first date in a range of dates for the sample billback rate, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date.
End Date	Enter the last date in a range of dates for the sample billback rate, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date.
Billback Rate	Enter the percentage the supplier can be billed for the sample billback rate.
