Approval Number Entry

To use Approval Number Entry, click the Approval Number button in the ribbon in Product Maintenance.

Note To display this window, you must be in Update mode in Product Maintenance. If you are not, you will instead display Approval Number Inquiry. The Approval Number button is only available if you display the Selling tab in Product Maintenance.

Purpose

Enter approval numbers for a product.

Overview

Use Approval Number Entry to view and enter approval numbers related to a product. You can enter one approval number for each state in each country.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Approval Number Entry window.
Update	Click this button to enter or change the approval number for the selected state and country.
First	Click this button to display the approval number for the first state.
Prev	Click this button to display the approval number for the previous state.
Next	Click this button to display the approval number for the next state.
Last	Click this button to display the approval number for the last state.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Product Code	This field displays the selected product code.
Product Name	This field displays the selected product name.
State	Enter a state for which you want to view, enter, or update an approval number, or click the Lookup button to select a state.
Country	Enter a country for which you want to view, enter, or update an approval number, or click the Lookup button to select a country.
Approval Number	Enter an approval number for the selected state and country. This field is only enabled if you select a state and country, and click the Update button in the ribbon.
