Purpose

Set up and maintain Aptean eCommerce sites.

Overview

Use Aptean eCommerce Site Maintenance to view, create, edit, and delete Aptean eCommerce sites. For more information on integrating with Aptean eCommerce, see Aptean eCommerce B2C Integration Guide.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Aptean eCommerce Site Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new site.
Update	Click this button to update the selected site.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected site.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Sync Products	Click this button to sync new products or product updates to Aptean eCommerce.
Sync Inventory	Click this button to sync product inventory to Aptean eCommerce.
Sync Specification Attributes	Click this button to sync specification attribute to Aptean eCommerce
First	Click this button to display the first site.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous site.
Next	Click this button to display the next site.
Last	Click this button to display the last site.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Site ID	Enter a site ID, or click the Lookup button to select a site ID.
Site Name	Enter a site name, or click the Lookup button to select a site name.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Mode	Select a mode for the site: Test Live Note: If the system ID is connected to the Test environment of eCommerce, make sure a site with Test mode is created. If the system ID is connected to the Live environment of eCommerce, make sure a site with Live mode is created.
Site Type	Select a type for the site: B2C B2B For this release, only B2C is supported.
Store	Enter the url of the eCommerce site. This is for information only.
Primary Store Currency	Enter or select the primary store currency. It should match with the value defined in Aptean eCommerce.
Sales Location	Enter or select the sales location. This controls which products can be sent to eCommerce.
Default Customer	Enter or select the default customer. This is used to create ERP orders for corresponding eCommerce orders.
Order Class	Enter or select the order class. This is used to create ERP orders for corresponding eCommerce orders.
Primary Dimension Unit of Measure	Enter or select the primary dimension unit of measure. It should match with the value defined in Aptean eCommerce.
Primary Weight Unit of Measure	Enter or select the primary weight unit of measure. It should match with the value defined in Aptean eCommerce.
Error Report Email Address	Enter the email address to receive error reports if the system encounters errors when communicating with eCommerce.
Charge Type for Payment	Enter the charge type for payment. This charge type will be added to offset the shipment amount at invoice creation.
Charge Type for Tax	Enter the charge type for tax. It is required if eCommerce is using Avalara as the primary tax provider. This charge type will be used to store the total tax amount sent from eCommerce.

Shipping Locations Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Available Shipping Locations	This grid displays available locations, which are not yet selected for shipping.
	Click this button to add the selected location in the Available Shipping Locations grid to the Selected Shipping Locations grid.
	Click this button to add all locations in the Available Shipping Locations grid to the Selected Shipping Locations grid.
	Click this button to remove the selected location from the Selected Shipping Locations grid.
	Click this button to remove all locations from the Selected Shipping Locations grid.
Selected Shipping Locations	This grid displays locations from which products will be shipped to users (customers).
	Click this button to move the selected location up in the Selected Shipping Locations grid.
	Click this button to move the selected location down in the Selected Shipping Locations grid.

Specification Attributes Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Field Name	Enter or select the field name.
Specification Attribute Name	Enter the specification attribute name. If left blank, the field name will be sent to eCommerce as the specification attribute name.
Add	Click this button to add a specification attribute to the grid.
Remove	Click this button to remove the selected attribute in the grid.
Specification Attributes	This grid displays all specification attributes added for the selected site.

Shipping Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Apprise Shipper ID	Enter or select the shipper ID.
eCommerce Shipping Method	Enter the eCommerce shipping method.
Charge Type for Estimated Shipping	Enter or select the charge type for estimated shipping.
Add	Click this button to add a cross-reference pair to the grid.
Remove	Click this button to remove the selected cross-reference pair in the grid.
Shipper ID Cross Reference	This grid displays all shipper ID cross-reference pairs added for the selected site.
