Purpose

Allow management and chargeback team members to review the aging of unpaid chargebacks.

Overview

Use Chargeback Management Aging Analysis to display chargeback aging in a number of different ways to facilitate management and analysis.

Click this button to close the Chargeback Management Aging Analysis window.

Show Data

Click this button to display chargeback aging information on the Results tab based on the selected criteria on the Select tab.

Select Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Date Aging Option

Select the date to use for aging purposes. You can use the chargeback, reference, or expiration date. Aging is calculated from today’s date.

Example Today is 3/1/2020. A chargeback has a chargeback date of 2/16/2020. If the first aging bucket days is 30 and you select the Chargeback radio button, then this chargeback is included in the 1-30 aging bucket.

All Teams

Select this check box to display chargeback aging for all chargeback teams. This check box is selected by default. If you want to display chargeback aging for a single chargeback team, clear this check box, then enter the chargeback team, or click the Lookup button to select the chargeback team.

All Divisions

Select this check box to display chargeback aging for all chargeback divisions. This check box is selected by default. If you want to display chargeback aging for a single chargeback division, clear this check box, then enter the chargeback division, or click the Lookup button to select the chargeback division.

All Groups

Select this check box to display chargeback aging for all chargeback groups. This check box is selected by default. If you want to display chargeback aging for a single chargeback group, clear this check box, then enter the chargeback group, or click the Lookup button to select the chargeback group.

All Reasons

Select this check box to display chargeback aging for all chargeback reasons. This check box is selected by default. If you want to display chargeback aging for a single chargeback reason, clear this check box, then enter the chargeback reason, or click the Lookup button to select the chargeback reason.

All Statuses

Select this check box to display chargeback aging for all chargeback statuses. This check box is selected by default. If you want to display chargeback aging for a single chargeback status, clear this check box, then enter the chargeback status, or click the Lookup button to select the chargeback status.

All Customers

Select this check box to display chargeback aging for all customers. This check box is selected by default. If you want to display chargeback aging for a single customer, clear this check box, then enter the customer code, or click the Lookup button to select the customer code.

Resolution Status

Select whether to display chargeback aging for resolved, unresolved, or both resolved and unresolved chargebacks.

Display

Select the first level of information to display on the Results tab when you click the Show Data button in the ribbon. The display options correspond to the filter options. Select one of the following:

  • Team - Display the chargeback team in the first column of the Results grid.

  • Division - Display the chargeback division in the first column of the Results grid.

  • Group - Display the chargeback group in the first column of the Results grid.

  • Reason - Display the chargeback reason in the first column of the Results grid.

  • Status - Display the chargeback status in the first column of the Results grid.

  • Customer - Display the billing customer name and code in the first columns of the Results grid.

Drill Down

Select the second level of information to display in the Results grid when a row in the first  level of information is double-clicked. The options are the same as the display options.

Note You must select a drill-down option that is different than the display option.

Example If the display option is Team, you cannot select Team as the drill down option.

When displaying this second level of information in the Results grid, the display option is in the first column, and the drill down option is in the first column.

Currency

Click the Lookup button to select a currency for all displayed amounts. This defaults to the default general ledger currency.

Summary/Detail

Select whether to display summary or detail information.

Aging Days

Enter the number of days for up to six aging buckets. This defaults from Accounts Receivable Control Maintenance.

Bucket Range Start

These fields display the number of the first day in each time bucket range, based on the entered aging days.

Bucket Range End

These fields display the number of the last day in each time bucket range, based on the entered aging days.

Future Days

Enter a number of future days for the chargeback analysis. This defaults from Accounts Receivable Control Maintenance.

Minimum Chargeback Amount

Enter an amount if you do not want to include chargebacks that are less than this amount in the analysis. This exclusion criteria is enabled for all display options.

Customer Minimum Chargeback Count

Enter an amount if you do not want to include a customer’s chargebacks if the total number (count) of chargebacks is less than this amount. This field is only enabled if you select the Customer radio button in the Display section.

Customer Minimum Chargeback Amount

Enter an amount if you do not want to include a customer’s chargebacks if the total amount of chargebacks is less than this amount. This field is only enabled if you select the Customer radio button in the Display section.

Results

This grid displays chargeback aging information based on the criteria selected on the Select tab.

Count

These fields display the number of chargebacks for each aging bucket (including one for future if a date is greater than today) and the total number of chargebacks.

Amount

These fields display the amount of chargebacks for each aging bucket (including one for future if a date is greater than today) and the total amount of all chargebacks.
