Purpose

Define a co-op year and assign availability of months.

Overview

Use Co-Op Year Maintenance to define co-op years and assign each period’s availability to accrue and use co-op credits. For more information, see Co-Op Sales Process Flow.

Creating Co-Op Years

To create a co-op year:

  1. Click the New button in the ribbon.

  2. Enter the co-op year in the Co-Op Year field.

  3. For each period in the co-op year, select whether co-op credits are accrued and can be used (Available), only can be used (Not Available), or are not accrued and cannot be used (Expired).

  4. Click the OK button in the ribbon. The co-op year is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button

Description

Exit

Click this button to close the Co-op Year Maintenance window.

New

Click this button to create a new co-op year. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Update

Click this button to update the selected co-op year. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected co-op year. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

OK

Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

Show Data

Click this button to display co-op year information. This button is only available if you click the Inquiry tab.

First

Click this button to display the first co-op year. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Prev

Click this button to display the previous co-op year. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Next

Click this button to display the next co-op year. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Last

Click this button to display the last co-op year. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Co-Op Year

Enter a co-op year, or click the Lookup button to select a co-op year.

Note The year must be consistent with the general ledger fiscal year. So, if the general ledger uses a fiscal year that ends on 6/30, then the co-op year must also end on 6/30.

Co-Op Year Has Expired

This check box is selected if the Expired radio button is selected for all periods in the co-op year to indicate that the co-op year has expired.

Field or Button

Description

Period-1-Period-12

Select the current status of each period in the co-op year, as follows:

  • Available - Accrue and use co-op credit.

  • Not Available - Use co-op credit, but do not accrue co-op credit.

  • Expired - Do not accrue or use co-op credit.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Note This tab is disabled if you are creating, editing, or deleting a co-op year.
