Define credit status reasons used for credit task inquiries.
Use Credit Status Reason Maintenance to define credit status reasons for credit hold tasks in Credit Task Management.
Example You could create a Callback status reason to indicate a customer has been called about a credit hold, and you are waiting for them to call back. You could create a Payment status reason if you are waiting for payment from a customer before releasing an order.
To add a new credit status reason:
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a name for the credit status in the Credit Status field.
Enter a description of the status in the Description field.
If you want to automatically close the credit task when it is assigned the status, select the Automatically Close Credit Task check box.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The credit status reason is created.
To update a credit status reason:
Enter the credit status reason in the Credit Status field.
Click the Update button in the ribbon.
Edit the credit status reason.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The credit status reason is updated.
To delete a credit status reason:
Enter the credit status reason in the Credit Status field.
Click the Delete button in the ribbon.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The credit status reason is deleted.
NOTE You cannot delete a credit status reason code if it has already been assigned to a credit task in Credit Task Management.
