Use Customer Aging and Credit Inquiry to display customer aging and credit information.

Click this button to display aging and credit information for the selected customer. |
Customer |
Click this button to display Customer Maintenance, which allows you to view and edit information for the selected customer. Note If you are not authorized to use Customer Maintenance, the Customer Inquiry window appears instead, and allows you to view information for the customer. |
Notes |
Click this button to display Notes Entry, which allows you to view and enter notes for a selected customer. |
Detailed Analysis |
Click this button to display A/R Average/Weighted Average Days to Pay/Past Due for Last 24 Periods, which allows you to view historical payment statistic information for the past 2 years. |
Open Items |
Click this button to display Customer Open Accounts Receivable Management, which allows you to manage and view open accounts receivable transactions. |
Open Orders |
Click this button to display Customer Order Inquiry, which allows you to view open, closed, and voided orders for a customer. |
Payment History Inquiry |
Click this button to display Customer Payment History Inquiry, which allows you to view payments made by a paying customer. |
Field or Button |
Description |
Select whether you want to view data for a billing, credit, or payer customer. For more information on customers, see Structure and Concepts. |

Enter a customer code for which to display data, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. You can only select the type of customer selected in the Customer Type field. |

Enter a customer name for which to display data, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name. You can only select the type of customer selected in the Customer Type field. |

Enter the number of days to determine what invoices are displayed in the future bucket for aging purposes. This field defaults to the number of days entered in the Default Future Bucket Days field in Accounts Receivable Control Maintenance. For more information, see future bucket days. |

Select whether to display aging based on the due date or reference date. |
|
Select whether to display offsets in the current bucket or the oldest buckets. |
|
Click the Lookup button to select the currency for displayed amounts. This defaults to the default general ledger currency. |

Select the All check box to display aging for all reference types, or clear the All check box, and select the check box for specific reference types for which you want to display aging. Example If you only want to view the aging for chargebacks for a customer, clear the All check box, and select only the Chargeback check box. |

Select this check box for types of transactions that will offset in the aging buckets. Choices are Credit Memos, On Account and Unapplied Payments. The offset is in the current or oldest bucket based on whether you select the Current or Oldest radio button. |

These fields display the amount in the selected currency for each reference type. |

These fields display the count of transactions for each reference type. |

Enter the number of full prior months of history for which to display customer statistics. The current month is always included in the totals. These fields default the number of months entered in the Default Prior Months 1 and Default Prior Months 2 fields in Accounts Receivable Control Maintenance. Note If you just want to see the current month’s number, enter 0 in one of these fields. |

These fields display the net total of invoices and debit memos minus credit memos for each history month period selected. Note This should not be confused with net sales. Net invoices are what the customer ultimately pays, and includes freight, sales taxes, and any other non-sale additional charge. Example If there are $10,000 of invoices, $1,000 of debit memos, and $3,000 of credit memos, then the net Invoice total is $8,000. |

These fields display the net amount of write-offs for each history month period selected. Example Three chargebacks were written off to a promotions Expense account for $5,000. These would appear in the write-off totals. |

These fields display the net amount of cash discounts taken for each history month period selected. |

These fields display the net amount of payment absorption for each history month period selected. |

These fields display the highest accounts receivable balance for each history month period selected. Note This value may be lower than the current accounts receivable balances until collection tasks are refreshed in Collection Task Refresh. |

This field displays the selected customer’s credit limit (this field may be blank if the billing customer or paying customer are different than the credit customer). |

This field displays the paying customer code for a selected billing or credit customer. This field is only available if the paying customer is different from the billing or credit customer. |

This field displays the paying customer name for a selected billing or credit customer. This field is only available if the paying customer is different from the billing or credit customer. |

This field displays the date of the last invoice for the selected customer. |

This field displays the amount of the last invoice for the selected customer. |

This field displays the date of the last payment by the selected customer (this field may be blank if the billing customer or credit customer are different than the paying customer). |

This grid displays aging information for the selected customer. For billing customers, aging buckets are defined in Group Collection Rule Maintenance or Customer Collection Rule Maintenance. For credit and paying customers, aging buckets are defined in Group Credit Rule Maintenance or Customer Credit Rule Maintenance. |
