Purpose

View backorders for a customer.

Overview

Use Customer Backorder Inquiry to display orders on backorder for customers that may or may not have sufficient inventory for backorder release. You can drill-down on an order to view the back ordered line items for the order.

Click this button to close the Customer Backorder Inquiry window.

Show Data

Click this button to display backorders for a selected customer.

Select Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Customer Type

Select whether to display backorder information for a customer or billing customer.

Customer Code

Enter a customer code for which to display backorder information, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. This field is only available if the Customer radio button is selected.

Billing Customer Code

Enter a billing customer code for which to display backorder information, or click the Lookup button to select a billing customer code. This field is only available if the Billing Customer radio button is selected.

Customer Name

Enter a customer name for which to display backorder information, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name. This field is only available if the Customer radio button is selected.

Billing Customer Name

Enter a billing customer name for which to display backorder information, or click the Lookup button to select a billing customer name. This field is only available if the Billing Customer radio button is selected.

Backorders

This grid displays backorders for the selected customer. Double-click an order to display Line Items, which allows you to view backorder line item information.
