Select this check box to purge open shopping carts. Open shopping carts are those that have had items placed in them but have not been ordered or saved. A user might log into a customer portal site, view some products, place a product in a shopping cart, and exit the customer portal site. This is an open cart. This check box is selected by default. |
Select this check box to purge ordered shopping carts. After products are placed in a shopping cart and the user successfully completes the checkout process, the sales order is created. The contents of the cart are stored, but are not visible until purged. This check box is selected by default. |
Select this check box to purge saved shopping carts. After products are placed in a shopping cart the user has the ability to save the shopping cart under a name they specify. The user can then proceed to place products in a new cart, and process (order) for that cart if they want. The saved cart remains a saved cart until a user retrieves the cart. This check box is cleared by default. |
Select this check box to purge failed shopping carts. If a customer portal user attempts to complete the checkout process (place the order) and for some reason the order is not created, the shopping cart is flagged as a failed cart. Administrators can attempt to re-import failed carts. This check box is cleared by default. |
Enter a number of days to purge shopping carts that were last updated that number of days ago or earlier. This works in conjunction with the selected check boxes. Example If you enter 10 and you select the Purge Failed Carts check box, you will delete failed shopping carts that were last updated more than 10 days ago. |
