Purpose

Review the transaction history for a customer.

Overview

Use Customer Transaction History Inquiry to review transaction history and payment application information for a customer.

Note You can drill down on a closed transaction to review all other transactions that affected this transaction.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button

Description

Exit

Click this button to close the Customer Transaction History Inquiry window.

Show Data

Click this button to display data on the ResultsĀ tab based on the criteria selected on the Select tab.

Down

Click this button to drill down on a closed transaction for more detailed information. This button is only enabled if you have not already drilled down.

UP

Click this button if you have drilled down on a closed transaction and want to return to the top-level data. This button is only enabled after you drill down.

Notes

Click this button to display Notes Entry, which allows you to view notes for a selected transaction.

Select Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Customer Code

Enter the customer code of a billing customer for which you want to view transaction history, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code.

Name

Enter the customer name of a billing customer for which you want to view transaction history, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name.

Display Currency

Click the Lookup button to select the currency to use for displaying transaction history.

From

Enter the first date in a reference date range for which to display customer transaction history.

To

Enter the last date in a reference date range for which to display customer transaction history.

Status

Select whether to display open, closed, or both open and closed transactions.

Primary Sort

Click the Lookup button to select the primary method used to sort the customer transaction history.

Secondary Sort

Click the Lookup button to select the secondary method used to sort the customer transaction history.

All

Select this check box to display transaction history for all accounts receivable reference types.

Invoice

Select this check box to display invoice transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Finance Charge

Select this check box to display finance charge transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Credit Memo

Select this check box to display credit memo transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Non-Sufficient Funds

Select this check box to display non-sufficient funds transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Debit Memo

Select this check box to display debit memo transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

On Account

Select this check box to display on account transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Chargeback

Select this check box to display chargeback transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Unapplied Payment

Select this check box to display unapplied payment transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Prepayment

Select this check box to display prepayment transaction history. This check box is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Results Tab Fields and Buttons

Results

This grid displays detailed deposit information for the selected batch. This grid displays the following columns.

  • Reference Number - This column displays the reference number for each transaction.

  • Reference Number Suffix - This column displays the reference number suffix for each transaction.

  • Reference Type - This column displays the one of the accounts receivable reference types for each transaction.

  • Reference Date - This column displays the reference date for each transaction.

  • Original Amount - This column displays the original amount of each transaction.

  • Open Amount - This column displays the currently open amount for each transaction.

  • Customer PO # - This column displays the customer's purchase order number for each transaction.

  • Open - The check box in this column is selected for transactions that are open (i.e., the balance is not equal to zero).

  • Customer Ref# - This column displays the customer reference number for each transaction.

  • Prepayment - The check box in this column is selected for prepayment transactions.

To drill down to transaction information, double-click a transaction, or select a transaction, and then click the Down button in the ribbon. After you drill down on a closed transaction, this grid displays the following columns:

  • Transaction Type - This column displays one of the accounts receivable transaction types for each transaction.

  • Transaction Date - This column displays the transaction date for each transaction.

  • Transaction Number - This column displays the transaction number for each transaction.

  • Sequence Number - This column displays the sequence number for each transaction.

  • Reference Number - This column displays the reference number for each transaction.

  • Reference Suffix - This column displays the reference number's suffix for each transaction.

  • Amount - This column displays the amount for each transaction.

  • Batch - This column displays the batch ID for each transaction.

  • Last Update by - This column displays the user ID of the user who last updated each transaction.

  • Last Update Date - This column displays the date of the last update for each transaction.

  • Last Update Time - This column displays the time of the last update for each transaction.
