Automatic Additional Charges

Creating an automatic additional charge is a way of assigning a specified charge to an order class, as well as an additional charge type. These charges are calculated at the end of order processing in Order Entry.

Order Entry automatic additional charges are defined and maintained in Order Entry Automatic Additional Charge Maintenance.

An automatic additional charge can be assigned at the product or order level. When assigned at the product level, a product category may optionally be used to group similar products together.

Additional charge types must be defined in Order Entry Additional Charge Maintenance and order classes must be defined in Order Class Maintenance.
