Answer: During invoice creation, when resolving the commission class for a product:
The software finds the commission class of the product location record (oe-prod-location) for the sales location of the order (oe-header.sales-location-key). If the commission class exists, it is used (even if blank). If it does not exist, the software continues to step 2.
The software finds the commission class of the product location record (oe-prod-location) for the shipping location of the line item (oe-trailer.shipping-location-key). If the commission class exists, it is used (even if blank). If it does not exist, the software continues to step 3.
