Question: Are there any operational limitations when setting up a product as a kit?
Answer: Yes. The following limitations exists:
You cannot change an existing product that is not a kit to be a kit if any inventory exists for the product.
You cannot change an existing product that is not a kit to be a kit if any units of measure exist for the product other than the default unit of measure.
You cannot add additional units of measure to a product that is a kit
