General Ledger Category Inquiry

Purpose

View all accounts that are assigned to a specific category or user.

Overview

Use General Ledger Category Inquiry to view general ledger accounts assigned to a category or user ID. After you select a category or user, all the accounts defined under that category or user appear.

Click this button to close the General Ledger Category Inquiry window.

Show Data

Click this button to display account category information.

First

Click this button to display accounts for the first category or user.

Prev

Click this button to display accounts for the previous category or user.

Next

Click this button to display accounts for the next category or user.

Last

Click this button to display accounts for the last category or user.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Category/User

Select whether you want to display accounts for a category or user ID.

Category/User

Enter a category or user ID for which you want to display general ledger accounts, or click the Lookup button to select a category or user ID.

Ledger ID

Enter a ledger ID for which you want to display general ledger accounts, or click the Lookup button to select a ledger ID.

Note This field is only available if at least one consolidation ledger is set up.

Accounts

This grid displays accounts assigned to the selected category or user.
