Import Override Maintenance

To use Import Override Maintenance, click the Import Override Maintenance button in the ribbon in any import window.

Purpose

Select import default options.

Overview

Use Import Override Maintenance to select the default processing and file type options for an import window. The default options are specifically for the window from which Import Override Maintenance was opened.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
OK	Click this button to close the Import Override Maintenance window and save import default settings.
Cancel	Click this button to close the Import Override Maintenance window without saving changes.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Default Option	Select one of the following processing options as the default for the import window: Import Valid Data (Skip Errors) - Verify the data in the selected file, and load any records that are valid into the database. Import if all Data is Valid - Verify the data in the selected file, and if all data is valid, load the data into the database. Validate Only - Verify the data in the selected file (without importing it). NOTE The Import Valid Data (Skip Errors) option is not available for all windows.
Default File Type	Click the Lookup button and select the default file type of import files for the import.
Extensions	This field displays file extensions for the file type selected.
