Purpose

Maintain labels displayed in Apprise.

Overview

Use Label Maintenance to create, update, and delete labels for user-defined fields, custom programs, and custom inquiries. If your company has licensed language packs, you can also enter a label translation for each language. After you have set up labels, you can enter a label code in User Defined Fields Maintenance, Custom Program Wizard, or Inquiry Wizard to use the associated label.

Creating Labels

To create a label:

  1. Click the New button in the ribbon. A new label code is automatically entered in the Label Code field.

  2. Enter the label for each language in the Label column in the Labels grid.

  3. Click the OK button in the ribbon. The label is created.

Click this button to close the Label Maintenance window.

New

Click this button to create a new label.

Update

Click this button to update the selected label.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected label.

OK

Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

First

Click this button to display the first label.

Prev

Click this button to display the previous label.

Next

Click this button to display the next label.

Last

Click this button to display the last label.

Description

Label Code

Enter a label code you want to view or edit, or click the Lookup button to select a label code. The next available label code is automatically assigned when you create a new label.

Labels

This grid displays language-specific labels for a selected label code. This grid includes the following columns:

  • Language - This column lists all languages for which you are licensed.

  • Label - Enter the label for each language.
