Purpose

View landed cost for a specific product location.

Overview

Use Landed Cost Inquiry to display estimated and actual landed cost information. Landed cost is set up on the Landed Cost tab in Product Location Maintenance.

Click this button to close the Landed Cost Inquiry window.

First

Click this button to display landed cost for the first product for the selected location.

Prev

Click this button to display landed cost for the previous product for the selected location.

Next

Click this button to display landed cost for the next product for the selected location.

Last

Click this button to display landed cost for the last product for the selected location.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Location

Enter a location prefix or name for which to display landed cost information, or click the Lookup buttons to select a location prefix or name.

Product

Enter a product code or name for which to display landed cost information, or click the Lookup buttons to select a product code or name.

Landed Cost Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

All

Select this check box to display landed cost for all dates. This check box is cleared by default.

From

Enter the first date in a range of dates for which to display landed cost, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

To

Enter the last date in a range of dates for which to display landed cost, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Show Data

Click this button to refresh data in the Costs grid. This button is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Type

This field is disabled in this window.

Est. Amount

This field is disabled in this window.

Add

This button is disabled in this window.

Difference Based On

Select which numbers are compared for difference calculations. You can select the following options:

  • Receipt and Estimated

  • Receipt and Invoiced

  • Invoiced and Estimated

Currency

This field displays the currency for displayed costs.

Additional Charges

This grid displays cost information for additional charges associated with the product and location, such as duty and freight. The grid includes the following columns:

  • Type - This column displays the type of additional charge.

  • Receipt Cost - This column displays the additional charge cost entered during purchase order receipt of the product.

  • Invoiced Cost - This column displays the additional charge cost on the supplier invoice.

  • Est. Cost - This column displays the estimated costs of additional charges entered for the product and location.

  • Difference - This column displays the calculated difference between costs based on the selected Difference Based On option.

Product Receipt

This field displays the cost entered during purchase order receipt for the product.

Product Invoiced

This field displays the product cost on the supplier invoice.

Product Estimated

This field displays the estimated cost for the product and location.

Product Difference

This field displays the calculated difference between product costs based on the selected Difference Based On option.

Add. Charges Receipt

This field displays the cost entered during purchase order receipt for the additional charges.

Add. Charges Invoiced

This field displays the cost on the supplier invoice for the additional charges.

Add. Charges Estimated

This field displays the estimated cost of additional charges for the product and location.

Add. Charges Difference

This field displays the calculated difference between additional charges based on the selected Difference Based On option.

Total Receipt

This field displays the sum of the product and additional charges receipt costs.

Total Invoiced

This field displays the sum of the product and additional charges invoice costs.

Total Estimated

This field displays the sum of the product and additional charges estimated costs.

Total Difference

This field displays the calculated difference between total costs based on the selected Difference Based On option.
