Menu Path: Manufacturing Module Setup Operation Category Maintenance
Set up and maintain operation categories.
Use Operation Category Maintenance to create, edit, and delete operation categories. You can use operation categories to group related operations. You can assign operations to operation categories in Operation Maintenance.
To create an operation category:
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a code for the operation category in the Category Code field.
Enter a name for the operation category in the Name field.
Enter a description of the operation category in the Description field.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The operation category is created.
