Purpose

Enter, view, edit, or delete point of sale regions.

Overview

Use Point of Sale Region Maintenance to assign customers (mass merchant stores) to regions for point of sale reporting. This region is used for selection purposes in Point of Sale Inquiry.

Note Setting up regions is only useful if you have set up mass merchant stores as customers in the software.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Point of Sale Region Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new point of sale region.
Update	Click this button to update the selected point of sale region.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected point of sale region.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first point of sale region.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous point of sale region.
Next	Click this button to display the next point of sale region.
Last	Click this button to display the last point of sale region.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Region ID	Enter the point of sale region ID, or click the Lookup button to select a point of sale region ID.
Name	Enter a description of the point of sale region.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Billing Customer Code	Enter a billing customer code for a billing customer you want to add to the point of sale region, or click the Lookup button to select a billing customer code. If you add a billing customer to a point of sale region, all customers associated with the billing customer are added to the point of sale region.
Add (Billing Customer)	Click this button to add the selected billing customer to the point of sale region.
Name (Billing Customer)	Enter a billing customer name for a billing customer you want to add to the point of sale region, or click the Lookup button to select a billing customer name. If you add a billing customer to a point of sale region, all customers associated with the billing customer are added to the point of sale region.
Remove (Billing Customer)	Click this button to remove the billing customer selected in the Selected Customers grid from the point of sale region.
Customer Code	Enter a customer code for a customer you want to add to the point of sale region, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code.
Add (Customer)	Click this button to add the selected customer to the point of sale region.
Name (Customer)	Enter a customer name for a customer you want to add to the point of sale region, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name.
Remove (Customer)	Click this button to remove the customer selected in the Selected Customers grid from the point of sale region.
Remove All	Click this button to remove all customers in the Selected Customers grid from the point of sale region.
Selected Customers	This grid displays customers for the selected point of sale region. Use the Add, Remove, and Remove All buttons to add or remove customers from the selected point of sale region.
