System Administration Process Flow

To perform the system administration process flow, perform the following steps:

  1. Create a new ledger ID.

  2. Create a new system ID.

  3. Allow user access to that system ID.

  4. Switch into that system ID.

  5. Add additional users to the system ID, if needed.

  6. Set up user access to programs, general ledger accounts, customers, and suppliers.

  7. Update the user options for the Purchasing and Customer Service modules.

  8. Create general ledger account elements.

  9. Create general ledger accounts.

  10. Add customer divisions.

  11. Add customers.

  12. Add suppliers.

  13. Add locations for Order Entry and Invoice Entry.

  14. Add bins and lots for inventory tracking.

  15. Add product groups and products.

  16. Add price books and price classes for product pricing.
