Menu Path: Customer Service Order Options Commissions Setup Product Line Group Maintenance
Set up groupings of product lines for sales and commission purposes.
Use Product Line Group Maintenance to associate product lines with a product line group. Use this functionality if you are a distributor that services customers with multiple sales representatives, and each sales representative has certain product lines for certain customers for which they receive sales and commission credit. The same product line can be used for different product line groupings. Before deleting a product line group, make sure that all customers linked to that product line group have been reassigned to other valid product line groups. You cannot delete a product line group if it is linked to a customer in Customer Product Line Group Maintenance.

Enter a product line group ID, or click the Lookup button to select a product line group ID. |

This grid displays product lines that you can add to the product line group. Double-click a product line you want to add to the group, or click the product line, and then click the right arrow button. Note Product lines marked as discontinued are not displayed in the grid. |

Click this button to add the selected product line in the Available Product Lines grid to the product line group. |

Click this button to add all product lines in the Available Product Lines grid to the product line group. |

Click this button to remove the selected product line in the Associated Product Lines grid from the product line group. |

Click this button to remove all product lines in the Associated Product Lines grid from the product line group. |

This grid displays the product lines in the product line group. Double-click a product line you want to remove from the grid, or click the product line, and then click the left arrow button. |

Enter an effective date for which you want to display product line groups in the Product Line Group grid, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. Note If a specific effective date is selected, all records where the effective date is between the start and end dates are displayed in the grid. |
