Menu Path: Purchasing Module Setup Purchase Cost Class Maintenance
Enter, view, edit, or delete purchase cost classes.
Use Purchase Cost Class Maintenance to group similar products for purchase costs. This method of grouping similar products allows you to define costs for a cost class in the Purchase Cost Matrix Maintenance.
To create a new cost class:
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a cost class name in the Cost Class field.
Enter a brief description of the cost class in the Short Description field.
Enter a detailed definition of the cost class in the Detailed Description field.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The cost class is created.
