Purchase Order Line Cancellation

To use Purchase Order Line Cancellation, cancel a purchase order line item or click the Cancel Reason Update button in the ribbon in PO Line Item Entry.

Purpose

Enter a purchase order line cancellation reason code and remark for a cancelled purchase order line item.

Overview

Use Purchase Order Line Cancellation to enter a purchase order line cancellation reason code and remark to explain the reason for the cancellation of a purchase order line item.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button

Description

Click this button to save the entered purchase order line cancellation reason code and remark, and close the Purchase Order Line Cancellation window.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel entry of a purchase order line cancellation reason code and remark, and close the Purchase Order Line Cancellation window.

Note If you click this button, the purchase order line item is not cancelled.

Field or Button	Description
Cancelled Reason Code	Enter a purchase order line cancellation reason code, or click the Lookup button to select a purchase order line cancellation reason code. For information on setting up purchase order line cancellation reason codes, see Purchase Order Line Cancellation Reason Maintenance.
Description	This field displays a description of the selected purchase order line cancellation reason code.
Cancelled Remark	Enter a remark for the cancellation of the purchase order line item.
