Purpose

Define customer rewards programs.

Overview

Use Reward Program Maintenance to define valid customer rewards programs. A typical customer rewards program involves a customer meeting specific sales and/or returns goals.

Note You cannot delete a rewards program if it already has reward levels assigned to it.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button

Description

Exit

Click this button to close the Reward Program Maintenance window.

New

Click this button to create a new rewards program.

Update

Click this button to edit the selected rewards program.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected rewards program.

OK

Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

First

Click this button to display the first rewards program ID.

Prev

Click this button to display the previous rewards program ID.

Next

Click this button to display the next rewards program ID.

Last

Click this button to display the last rewards program ID.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Reward Program ID

Enter a short code or ID to identify this customer rewards program, or click the Lookup button to select an existing rewards program ID.

Name

Enter the name of the customer rewards program, or click the Lookup button to select an existing rewards program name.

Description

Start Date

If the program has a specific start date, enter the date, or click the drop-down arrow to select the start date.

End Date

if the program has a specific end date, enter the date, or click the drop-down arrow to select the end date.

Service Product Code

Enter the service product code set up in Product Maintenance to track this rewards program, or click the Lookup button to select the service product code. This service product is used to track the rewards program in standard Executive Information Systems inquiries.

Name

Enter the service product name set up in Product Maintenance to track this rewards program, or click the Lookup button to select the service product name. This service product is used to track the rewards program in standard Executive Information Systems inquiries.

Description

Enter a description for the rewards program.

Active

Select this check box if the rewards program is active. Customers can only be added to an active rewards program.

Calendar Month Only

Select this check box if the rewards program can only be set up with a beginning of month start date and end of month end date.
