Purpose

Create and maintain royalty books.

Overview

Use Royalty Book Maintenance to create, edit, and delete royalty books. You can use royalty books to group suppliers or customers together for royalties. For more information on setting up royalties, see Royalty FAQ.

Creating Royalty Books

To create a royalty book:

  1. Click the New button in the ribbon.

  2. Enter a name for the royalty book in the Royalty Book Name field.

  3. Enter a description of the royalty book in the Short Description field.

  4. Enter a detailed description of the royalty book in the Detailed Description field.

  5. Click the OK button in the ribbon. The royalty book is created.

Exit

Click this button to close the Royalty Book Maintenance window.

New

Click this button to create a new royalty book.

Update

Click this button to edit the selected royalty book.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected royalty book.

Note You cannot delete a royalty book if it is associated with a customer, customer template, or supplier.

OK

Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

First

Click this button to display the first royalty book.

Prev

Click this button to display the previous royalty book.

Next

Click this button to display the next royalty book.

Last

Click this button to display the last royalty book.

Description

Royalty Book Name

Enter a royalty book name, or click the Lookup button to select an existing royalty book name.

Short Description

Enter a brief description of the royalty book.

Detailed Description

Enter a detailed description of the royalty book.
