Menu Path: Accounts Receivable Module Setup Sales Territory Maintenance
Add, update, or delete territories.
Use Sales Territory Maintenance to set up territories. You can use territories to track groups of related customers, such as customers in a specific geographical division or of a specific size. A territory can be any type of grouping that is appropriate for your company. After you create sales territories, you can assign customers to the territories in Customer Maintenance.
To add a new sales territory:
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a sales territory ID in the Territory Id field.
Enter address information for the sales territory in any of the Address 1, Address 2, City, State/Province, Postal Code, and Country fields.
Enter a detailed description of the sales territory in the Description field.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The sales territory is created.
To update a sales territory:
Display the sales territory you want to update.
Click the Update button in the ribbon.
Update the sales territory information as necessary.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The sales territory is updated.
To delete a sales territory:
Display the sales territory you want to delete.
Click the Delete button in the ribbon.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The sales territory is deleted.

Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon. |
First |
Click this button to display the first sales territory. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed. |
Prev |
Click this button to display the previous sales territory. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed. |
Next |
Click this button to display the next sales territory. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed. |
Last |
Click this button to display the last sales territory. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed. |

Enter the alphanumeric identifier of the sales territory, or click the Lookup button to select an existing sales territory. |

Enter the state or province for the sales territory, or click the Lookup button to select the state or province. |

Enter the postal code for the sales territory, or click the Lookup button to select a postal code. The format of the postal code is based on the country entered in the Country field. |

Enter the country for the sales territory, or click the Lookup button to select a country. For information on setting up countries, see Country Maintenance. |

Enter the county for the sales territory. |

Enter a description of the sales territory. |
Note This tab is disabled if you are editing a sales territory.
