Set up and maintain Scheduling Assistant queues.
Use Scheduling Assistant Queue Maintenance to create, edit, and delete Scheduling Assistant queues. These queues can be used to group Scheduling Assistant tasks by function, and by specific users.
EXAMPLE You can create a queue that is dedicated to EDI tasks, and only allow EDI users to use the queue.
A Default queue is automatically created. This queue can be used by all users and all system IDs.

To create a Scheduling Assistant queue:
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a name for the queue in the Queue Name field.
If you do not want the queue to be active, clear the Active check box.
Enter a description of the queue in the Description field.
Enter the number of dedicated workers for the queue in the Dedicated Workers field.
If the queue will be used only for specific system IDs, clear the All System IDs check box, and select the system IDs for the queue.
Click the Valid Users tab.
Select user groups and/or users who are allowed to use the queue.
Click the Priority tab.
Select a queue in the grid, and click the up or down arrow button to change the priority for the queue.
Click the OK ribbon button. The Scheduling Assistant queue is created.

Select this check box if the Scheduling Assistant queue is active. New tasks cannot be assigned to an inactive queue. This check box is selected by default. NOTE You cannot clear this check box for the Default queue. |

Enter the number of Scheduling Assistant workers available for the Scheduling Assistant queue. The number of tasks that can be run at the same time is based on the number of workers. The total workers associated with all queues must be less than the licensed number of workers. If only one worker is licensed, 0 is entered in this field, and it is disabled. NOTE One worker license is always not dedicated to a queue, so it can perform tasks for queues that have no dedicated workers. |

Select this check box if the Scheduling Assistant queue can be used for all system IDs. This check box is selected by default. |

Enter a system ID that you want to associate with the Scheduling Assistant queue, or click the Lookup button to select a system ID. This field is only enabled if you clear the All System IDs check box. |

Click this button to add the system ID entered in the System ID field to the System IDs grid. |

This field displays the company name of the system ID entered in the System ID field. |

Click this button to remove the selected system ID from the System IDs grid. |

This grid displays system IDs associated with the Scheduling Assistant queue. Only users for these system IDs can use the Scheduling Assistant queue. |
