Purpose

Maintain settings for integrating with Galaxy APS.

Overview

Use Scheduling Control Maintenance to set up integration between Apprise and Galaxy APS, which is used to manage scheduling for the Manufacturing module.

Note You must have licensed and installed Galaxy APS before you can set up integration.

Updating Galaxy APS Settings

To update Galaxy APS settings:

  1. Click the Update button in the ribbon.

  2. Change Galaxy APS settings, as necessary.

  3. Click the OK button in the ribbon. The settings are updated.

Exit

Click this button to close the Scheduling Control Maintenance window.

Update

Click this button to update the Galaxy APS integration settings.

OK

Click this button to save the integration settings. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel the update of integration settings. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Mode

Select Test if you are testing the system, or Production if you are ready to go live.

Instance Name

Enter the APS instance name set up in APS Enterprise Client.

Server Manager

Enter the IP address or computer name of the computer on which the APS Server Manager is installed.

Version

Enter the version number of the Galaxy APS client.

Example 2013.1.18.1

Port Number

Enter the port number of the APS server.

APS Client Path

Enter the file name and folder path of the Galaxy APS client EXE file, or click the Lookup button to navigate to and select the file.

User ID

Enter the user ID for logging into the Galaxy APS client.

Password

Enter the password for logging into the Galaxy APS client.

Last Synchronization Time

This field displays the last time data was synchronized with Galaxy APS.
