Purpose

View inventory information for products in a style.

Overview

Use Style Inventory Inquiry to display inventory of styles for products in apparel (or similar) industries. A product style is associated with products on the General tab in Product Maintenance, and can be used in Order Entry to facilitate the entry of apparel (or similar) products. The style code is also used by the Business Intelligence (legacy) module to analyze the performance of product lines, styles, sizes, and colors.

You can filter to display product/location inventory data for all or a specific product line, product style, location, color, and/or size.

Using the Inquiry

To use the Style Inventory Inquiry:

Select filter criteria for the products you want to view.
If you do not want to summarize inventory quantities in the default display unit of measure for each product/location, clear the Show in Default Display U/M check box.
Click the Show Data button in the ribbon. Inventory data appears for the products in the Results grid.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Style Inventory Inquiry window.
Show Data	Click this button to display data for the selected filter criteria.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
All Product Lines	Select this check box to display inventory data for all product lines. This check box is cleared by default.
Product Line Code	Enter a product line code for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a product line code. This field is only enabled if the All Product Lines check box is cleared.
Product Line Name	Enter a product line name for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a product line name. This field is only enabled if the All Product Lines check box is cleared.
All Styles	Select this check box to display inventory data for all product styles. This check box is cleared by default.
Style Code	Enter a product style code for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a product style code. This field is only enabled if the All Styles check box is cleared.
Style Name	Enter a product style name for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a product style name. This field is only enabled if the All Styles check box is cleared.
All Locations	Select this check box to display inventory data for all shipping locations. This check box is selected by default.
Location Prefix	Enter a shipping location prefix for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location prefix. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Locations check box.
Location Name	Enter a shipping location name for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Locations check box.
All Colors	Select this check box to display inventory data for products of all colors. This check box is selected by default.
Color Code	Enter a color code for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a color code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Colors check box.
Color Name	Enter a color name for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a color name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Colors check box.
All Sizes	Select this check box to display inventory data for products of all sizes. This check box is selected by default.
Size Code	Enter a size code for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a size code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Sizes check box.
Size Name	Enter a size name for which to display product inventory data, or click the Lookup button to select a size name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Sizes check box.
Show in Default Display U/M	Select this check box to display product inventory data in the default display unit of measure for each product/location. This check box is selected by default. If you clear this check box, the Results grid includes separate rows for each unit of measure, and includes the following additional columns: Backorder Future In Transit On Order Pending PO Released PO Unreleased WO Pending
Results	This grid displays inventory data for products/locations based on the selected filter criteria. Double-click a product to display Inventory Matrix Inquiry, which allows you to view detailed inventory and transaction data for the product. Note If the Show in Default Display U/M check box is cleared, this grid displays separate rows for each unit of measure, and includes columns for inventory quantities associated with each unit of measure.
