Purpose

Maintain supplier allowance product groups.

Overview

Use Supplier Allowance Product Group Maintenance to create, update, and delete supplier allowance product groups. Supplier allowance product groups are groups of products for which you have supplier allowance deals. Each group is for a specific supplier.

Note A single product can be included in multiple supplier allowance product groups. If a product is in multiple groups, it may be used multiple times in a single supplier allowance deal.

Creating Supplier Allowance Product Groups

To create a supplier allowance product group:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter the supplier code or name for the supplier allowance product group in the Supplier Code or Supplier Name field.
Enter a code for the supplier allowance product group in the Group Code field.
Enter a name for the supplier allowance product group in the Group Name field.
Click the Show Data button in the ribbon.
In the Available Products grid, double-click each product you want to add to the group. If you want to decrease the number of displayed products in the Available Products grid, select one or multiple filters (above the grid), and then click the Show Data button in the ribbon.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The supplier allowance product group is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Supplier Allowance Product Group Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new supplier allowance product group for the selected supplier.
Update	Click this button to update the selected supplier allowance product group for the selected supplier.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected supplier allowance product group for the selected supplier. Note You cannot delete a supplier allowance product group if it is associated with a supplier allowance deal.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Show Data	Click this button to display products in the Available Products grid based on selected filter criteria. This button is only available if you click the New or Update button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first supplier allowance product group.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous supplier allowance product group.
Next	Click this button to display the next supplier allowance product group.
Last	Click this button to display the last supplier allowance product group.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Supplier Code	Enter a supplier code for which you want to maintain supplier allowance product groups, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier code. For information on setting up suppliers, see Supplier Maintenance. Note You cannot change the supplier code for an existing group.
Supplier Name	Enter a supplier name for which you want to maintain supplier allowance product groups, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier name. For information on setting up suppliers, see Supplier Maintenance. Note You cannot change the supplier name for an existing group.
Group Code	Enter a supplier allowance product group code, or click the Lookup button to select an existing supplier allowance product group code. Note You cannot change the group code for an existing group.
Group Name	Enter a name for the supplier allowance product group, or click the Lookup button to select an existing supplier allowance product group name.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
All (Product Codes)	Select this check box to display all products in the Available Products grid that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group. This check box is selected by default, and only enabled if you are creating or updating a supplier allowance product group. If you clear or select this check box, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
Product Code	Enter an active product code to only display a single product code in the Available Products grid (that is not in the selected supplier allowance product group). You can also click the Lookup button to select a product code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it. If you enter a value in this field, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
All (Primary Supplier Codes)	Select this check box to display products in the Available Products grid that are assigned any primary supplier code (and that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group). This check box is cleared by default, and only enabled if you are creating or updating a supplier allowance product group. If you clear or select this check box, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
Primary Supplier Code	Enter a supplier code to only display products in the Available Products grid that are assigned that supplier as the primary supplier (and that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group). You can also click the Lookup button to select a supplier code. This field is only enabled if the All check box to the left of it is cleared. This field defaults to the supplier code of the supplier for the supplier allowance product group. If you enter a value in this field, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
All (Category Codes)	Select this check box to display products in the Available Products grid that are assigned any product category code (and that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group). This check box is selected by default, and only enabled if you are creating or updating a supplier allowance product group. If you clear or select this check box, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
Category Code	Enter a category code to only display products in the Available Products grid that are assigned that product category (and that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group). You can also click the Lookup button to select a product category code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it. If you enter a value in this field, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
All (Subcategory Codes)	Select this check box to display products in the Available Products grid that are assigned any product subcategory code (and that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group). This check box is selected by default, and only enabled if you are creating or updating a supplier allowance product group. If you clear or select this check box, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
Subcategory Code	Enter a subcategory code to only display products in the Available Products grid that are assigned that product subcategory (and that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group). You can also click the Lookup button to select a product subcategory code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box to the left of it. If you enter a value in this field, click the Show Data button in the ribbon to update the Available Products grid.
Available Products	This grid displays the product codes and names of active products that are not in the selected supplier allowance product group. To add a product, double-click it, or select it, and then click the right-arrow button.
	Click this button to add the product selected in the Available Products grid to the Selected Products grid.
	Click this button to add all products in the Available Products grid to the Selected Products grid.
	Click this button to remove the selected product from the Selected Products grid.
	Click this button to remove all products from the Selected Products grid.
Selected Products	This grid displays the product codes and names of products in the selected supplier allowance product group. To remove a product, double-click it, or select it, and then click the left-arrow button.
