Purpose

Unlock batches of transactions.

Overview

Use Unlock Batch Utility to unlock batches that are locked due to extenuating circumstances. Batches are locked during posting, and may remain locked if posting does not complete properly.

Unlocking Batches

To unlock batches:

Select the check box in the Select grid column for each batch you want to unlock.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The batch is unlocked.

Exit	Click this button to close the Unlock Batch Utility window.
OK	Click this button to unlock the selected batches..
Show Data	Click this button to refresh the list of locked batches.

Description

Batches

This grid displays locked batches. This grid includes the following columns:

Select - Select the check box in this column for locked batches you want to unlock.
Batch ID - This column displays the ID for each locked batch.
Batch Description - This column displays the description for each locked batch.
Origin - This column displays the origin for each locked batch.
Closed - The check box in this column is selected for locked batches that are closed.
Closed by - This column displays the user that closed each locked batch (if it was closed).
Closed Date - This column displays the date each locked batch was closed (if it was closed).
Created Date - This column displays the date each locked batch was created.
