Purpose

Set up and maintain order void reason codes.
Display order void reason codes.

Overview

Use Void Reason Maintenance to create, edit, and delete void reason codes, which can be used to identify a reason an order is voided. Users can select void reason codes when voiding orders in Order Void Utility, Order Edit, or Order Entry.

Creating Void Reason Codes

To create a void reason code:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter the void reason code in the Void Reason Code field.
Enter a description of the void reason code in the Description field.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The void reason code is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Void Reason Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new void reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Update	Click this button to update the selected void reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected void reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Show Data	Click this button to display void reason codes based on the selected criteria. This button is only available if the Inquiry tab is displayed.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first void reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous void reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Next	Click this button to display the next void reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Last	Click this button to display the last void reason code. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Void Reason Code	Enter a void reason code, or click the Lookup button to select an existing void reason code.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Description	Enter a description of the void reason code.
Active	Select this check box to enable users to select the void reason code when voiding an order. This check box is selected by default.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Note This tab is disabled if you are creating, editing, or deleting a void reason code.

Field or Button	Description
All Void Reason Codes	Select this check box to display information for all void reason codes. This check box is selected by default.
Void Reason Code	Enter a void reason code for which to display information, or click the Lookup button to select a void reason code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Void Reason Codes check box.
Status	Select whether to display active, inactive, or both active and inactive void reason codes.
Void Reason Codes	This grid displays void reason code information based on the selected criteria after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon.
