To use A/R Invoices for Journal Entry, perform one of the following:

Purpose

View journal entry invoice and customer allowance adjustment information.

Overview

Use A/R Invoices for Journal Entry to view invoice or customer allowance adjustment details for selected journal entries. For each record, the following information is displayed:

You can also view profitability information.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Display Currency

This field displays the currency for displayed amounts.

Ledger ID

This field displays the ledger ID for the selected journal entry.

Note This field is only available if at least one consolidation ledger is set up.

Invoices

This grid displays detailed information for each invoice of the selected journal entry. Double-click an invoice to display G/L Posting for Invoice, which allows you to view general ledger posting information for the invoice. This grid includes the following columns:

  • Customer Name - This column displays the customer name for each invoice or customer allowance adjustment.

  • Customer Code - This column displays the customer code for each invoice or customer allowance adjustment.

  • Ref # - This column displays the reference number for each invoice, pick demand for each bill and hold shipment, or Allowance Adjust for each customer allowance adjustment.

  • Ref Type - This column displays the reference type for each invoice. This column is blank for customer allowance adjustments.

  • Total Invoice Amount (GL Currency) - This column displays the total invoice amount for each invoice in the functional ledger currency. This column is zero for customer allowance adjustments.

  • Total Cost (GL Currency) - This column displays the total cost for each invoice or customer allowance adjustment.

  • Total Invoice Amount (Entered Currency) - This column displays the total for each invoice in the entered currency.

  • Entered Currency - This column displays the currency for each invoice.

  • Customer PO# - This column displays the customer purchase order number for each invoice. This column is blank for customer allowance adjustments.

  • Customer Ref# - This column displays the customer reference number for each invoice or the customer allowance adjustment number.

Profit Type

Select whether to display customer, product, or supplier profitability information.

Profitability

This grid displays profitability for the transaction and selected profit type.
