Purpose

Associate customers with groupings of product lines for sales and commission purposes.

Overview

Use Customer Product Line Group Maintenance to associate a product line group with a customer. Use this functionality if you are a distributor that services customers with multiple sales representatives, and each sales representative has certain product lines for certain customers for which they receive sales and commission credit. Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Customer Product Line Group Maintenance window.
Update	Click this button to edit the product line groups for the selected customer.
Show Data	Click this button to display data in the Customer Product Line Groups grid. This button is only available if you click the Inquiry tab.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the product line groups for the first customer.
Prev	Click this button to display the product line groups for the previous customer.
Next	Click this button to display the product line groups for the next customer.
Last	Click this button to display the product line groups for the last customer.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Customer Code	Enter a customer code for which you want to view or update associated product line groups, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code.
Name	Enter a customer name for which you want to view or update associated product line groups, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Available Product Line Groups	This grid displays product line groups that you can associate with the selected customer. To associate a product line group with the selected customer, double-click the product line group, or click the product line group, and then click the right arrow button.
	Click this button to associate the selected product line group in the Available Product Line Groups grid with the selected customer.
	Click this button to associate all product line groups in the Available Product Line Groups grid with the selected customer.
	Click this button to remove the selected product line group from the Associated Product Line Groups grid.
	Click this button to remove all product line groups from the Associated Product Line Groups grid.
Associated Product Line Groups	This grid displays the product line groups associated with the selected customer. To remove the association between a product line group and the selected customer, double-click the product line group, or click the product line group, and then click the left arrow button.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
All (Customers)	Select this check box to display all customers in the Customer Product Line Groups grid.
Customer Code	Enter a customer code to display in the Customer Product Line Groups grid, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
Name (Customer)	Enter a customer name to display in the Customer Product Line Groups grid, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
All (Product Line Groups)	Select this check box to display all product line groups in the Customer Product Line Groups grid.
Product Line Group ID	Enter a product line group ID to display in the Customer Product Line Groups grid, or click the Lookup button to select a product line group ID. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
Name (Product Line Group)	Enter a product line group name to display in the Customer Product Line Groups grid, or click the Lookup button to select a product line group name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
All (Sales Representatives)	Select this check box to display product line groups for all sales representatives in the Customer Product Line Groups grid.
Sales Representative ID	Enter a sales representative ID for which to display product line groups in the Customer Product Line Groups grid, or click the Lookup button to select a sales representative ID. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
Name (Sales Representative)	Enter a sales representative name for which to display product line groups in the Customer Product Line Groups grid. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
Sort Option	Select whether to sort data in the Customer Product Line Groups grid by customer, product line group, or sales representative.
Customer Product Line Groups	This grid displays customer product line groups based on the selected criteria.
