G/L Groups and Reporting Fields Ranges

To use G/L Groups and Reporting Fields Ranges, click the Column Range button in the ribbon in Financial Report Print / Export or Define Column Header and Format.

Purpose

Define ranges of general ledger accounts for financial reports.

Overview

Use G/L Groups and Reporting Fields Ranges to select ranges of general ledger accounts for financial reports output in Financial Report Print / Export.

OK

Click this button to accept the selected ranges, and close the G/L Groups and Reporting Fields Ranges window.

General Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Column

If you accessed this window directly from Financial Report Print / Export, this field displays * ALL Columns * to indicate the selected ranges are for all columns in financial reports.

If you accessed this window from Define Column Header and Format, this field displays the selected column.

Joint Operator

Select AND or OR.

Available Ranges

This grid displays the account elements for which you can define ranges. Double-click an account element if you want to define a range for it, or select an account element, and then click Add.

Add

Click this button to add the selected account element to the Selected Ranges grid.

Remove

Click this button to remove the selected account element from the Selected Ranges grid.

Selected Ranges

This grid displays selected ranges of general ledger account elements. Double-click an account element to display Define Selection Criteria, which allows you to select a range of account elements. To remove a range, select it, and then click Remove.
