Journal Entry Detail

To use Journal Entry Detail, perform one of the following:

Select a journal entry on the Results tab in Journal Entry Inquiry, and then click the Journal Entry Detail button in the ribbon.
Select a journal entry, and click the Journal Entry Detail button in the ribbon in Ad Hoc Reversing Journal Entry, Consolidation Journal Entry Detail, G/L Posting for PO, Journal Detail for Entry, Journal Entry Hold Management, Journal Entry Void, or Manual Reversing Journal Entry.

View journal entry information.

Overview

Use Journal Entry Detail to view details for a selected journal entry.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Journal Entry Detail window.
Remarks	Click this button to display Detail Remark, which allows you to view a detailed remark for a journal entry.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Amount	This field displays the amount of the journal entry.
Entered Currency	This field displays the currency in which the journal entry was entered.
Ledger ID	This field displays the ledger ID for the journal entry.
Comment	This field displays the comment for the journal entry.
Batch ID	This field displays the batch ID for the journal entry.
On Hold	This check box is selected if the journal entry is on hold.
Tax Only	This check box is selected if the journal entry is only tax.
Remark	This field displays the remark for the journal entry.
Posted	This check box is selected if the journal entry has been posted.
Posted By	This field displays the user ID of the person who posted the journal entry.
Posting Period	This field displays the period in which the journal entry was posted.
Year (Posting)	This field displays the year in which the journal entry was posted.
Posted Date	This field displays the date the journal entry was posted.
Time (Posted)	This field displays the time the journal entry was posted.
Reversible	This check box is selected if the journal entry is reversible.
Reversed by	This field displays the user ID of the person that reversed the journal entry.
Reversed to Period	This field displays the period in which the journal entry was reversed.
Year (Reversed)	This field displays the year in which the journal entry was reversed.
Reversed Date	This field displays the date the journal entry was reversed.
Time (Reversed)	This field displays the time the journal entry was reversed.
Approved	This check box is selected if the journal entry was approved.
Approved by	This field displays the user ID of the person who approved the reversal of the journal entry.
Approved Date	This field displays the date on which the reversal of the journal entry was approved.
Time (Approved)	This field displays the time on which the reversal of the journal entry was approved.
Display Currency	This field displays the currency used to display the journal entry.
Convert to Currency	This field displays the currency to which the journal entry was converted.
Transaction Date	This field displays the date of the transaction for the journal entry.
Created By	This field displays the user ID of the person who created the journal entry.
Created Date	This field displays the date the journal entry was created.
Created Time	This field displays the time the journal entry was created.
Updated By	This field displays the user ID of the person that updated the journal entry.
Updated Date	This field displays the date on which the journal entry was updated.
Updated Time	This field displays the time on which the journal entry was updated.
