Purpose

Copy price book matrix price records.

Overview

Use Price Matrix Copy Utility to copy existing price book records to assign new dates or create new price book records using existing price books.

Note View price book records using Price Matrix Inquiry (select the All radio button in the Show Records field) before you copy new records. This will display existing record start and end dates to help you understand what to copy from.

Example To extend a date range that ends on12/31/19 to 12/31/20 for a price book that has many products associated with it, you would enter the following:

To copy a date range from one price book to another price book that has many products associated with it, you would enter the following:

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Price Matrix Copy Utility window.
Copy	Click this button to copy the price book records.

General Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
From Price Book	Enter a price book from which to copy, or click the Lookup button to select a price book.
To Price Book	Enter a price book to which to copy, or click the Lookup button to select a price book.
Copy Type	Select the data you want to copy, as follows: Copy Product - Copy only price book/product records. Copy Price Class - Copy only price book/price class records. Copy Style - Copy only price book/style records. Copy All - Copy all price book/product, price book/price class, and price book/style records.
Copy within Date Range	Enter the start and end dates for a range of records from which to copy, or click the Lookup buttons to select the dates. Note The dates do not need to exactly match the start and end dates of the price record from which you are copying. All records within the entered date range are copied.
Copy to Date Range	Enter the start and end dates for a range of dates to which to copy.
