Purpose

Create royalty deal ID's.

Overview

Use Royalty Deal Maintenance to set up royalty deal ID's. You can use royalty deal ID's to group royalty rates that are part of a single deal or agreement. You can associate royalty rates with a royalty deal ID in Royalty Rate Maintenance.

By setting up royalty deals, you can inquire on the deals in Royalty Deal Management.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Royalty Deal Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new royalty deal ID.
Update	Click this button to edit the selected royalty deal ID.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected royalty deal ID.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first royalty deal ID.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous royalty deal ID.
Next	Click this button to display the next royalty deal ID.
Last	Click this button to display the last royalty deal ID.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Royalty Deal ID	Enter a royalty deal ID, or click the Lookup button to select an existing royalty deal ID.
Short Description	Enter a brief description of the royalty deal ID.
Detail Description	Enter a detailed description of the royalty deal ID.
Subject to Special Considerations	Select this check box if the royalty deal ID includes deal factors that are not quantified in Apprise. If you select this check box, the check box is selected in the Special Considerations column in the lower grid in Royalty Deal Management Example A specific royalty supplier has a $1,000 minimum per calendar month for a specific product.
Start Date	Enter the first date in a range of dates for the royalty deal ID, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date.
End Date	Enter the last date in a range of dates for the royalty deal ID, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date.
