Menu Path: Settings Look and Feel Alerts/KPIs
NOTE If you access Alert and KPI User Access Maintenance from the Settings option, you cannot change any security-related options. Those options are only enabled if you access this window from User Profile Maintenance.
Set up user security access to security types for alerts and KPI's.
Use Alert and KPI User Access Maintenance to allow a selected user to access specific security types when setting up alerts in Alert Wizard and KPI's in Key Performance Indicator Wizard. You can give a user access to the following security types:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Cash Flow
Credit
Customer
Delivery Date
Demurrage Date
Dest JE Failed
EDI
Failed Shopping Cart
General Ledger
GL Account Balance
Inventory
Inventory Quantity Adjust
Manufacturing
Miscellaneous
Mobile Sales Rep
Notes Reminder
Orders
Pick Demand
PO Acknowledgment Task
PO Container
PO Shipment
Product
Production Monitoring
Purchase Cost
Purchase Orders
Supplier
System Administration
Terms
Warehouse

For information on specific alerts available for each security type, see Alerts.
Note If a user has the Alert Wizard window open when you update the user's access to security types, the user must close and reopen the window to view the changes.
To update a user's access to alert types:
Click the Update button in the ribbon.
Select a security type to see the associated alerts and KPI's in the Alerts and KPI's grid.
Select or clear the check box in the Select column in the Security Types grid for the security type. You can also click the Select All or Deselect All button in the ribbon to select or clear the check box for all security types.
Repeat steps 2-3 for all security types for which you want to grant or revoke access.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The user's access is updated.

This grid displays the security types. Select the check box in the Select column for all security types you want the selected user to be able to access. |

This grid displays the alerts and KPI's available for the selected security type. The alerts are categorized as simple alerts. For more information on alerts, see Alerts. |
