To use Bill of Material Group Maintenance, perform one of the following:
Click the Add Group button on the Components tab in Bill of Material Maintenance.
Double-click a configuration kit component on the Components tab in Bill of Material Maintenance.
Enter, edit, or view bills of material groups.
Use Bill of Material Group Maintenance to associate a bill of material group with component products for configuration kits.

Click this button to close the Bill of Material Group Maintenance window. This button is only available in inquiry mode. |

Click this button to close the Bill of Material Group Maintenance window and accept any changes made to the displayed bill of materials group. This button is only available in new or edit mode. |

Click this button to close the Bill of Material Group Maintenance window and cancel any changes made to the displayed bill of materials group. This button is only available in new or edit mode. |

Enter a UPC code or group ID for the bill of materials group. If you want to automatically generate a UPC code, leave this field blank and select the Generate UPC Code check box. |

Select this check box to automatically generate a UPC code for the bill of materials group. |

Enter a description for the bill of materials group. |
|
|
Enter the quantity of the bill of materials group included in the bill of materials. |
|
|
Enter a product code for that product you want to add to the bill of materials group, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. |

|
Click this button to select a product to add to the bill of materials group by its elements (if more than one element is defined). For more information, see Product Code Length Maintenance. |

This field displays the unit of measure for the product selected in the Product Code field. |

Enter a product name for a product you want to add to the bill of materials group, or click the Lookup button to select a product name. |

Click this button to add the product selected in the Product Code field to the bill of materials group. |
|
|
Click this button to clear the Product Code, Product Name, and U/M fields. |
|
|
Click this button to remove the product selected in the Product grid from the bill of materials group. |
|
|
This grid displays product information for products in the bill of materials group. |
